Worth the gamble. We really like these sconces. There is a good weight to them. They seem decently sturdy. They have standard equipment that allowed us to put it right where the old sconces were without a hassle. Their height and angle are adjustable. Install was easy but it took a few minutes to match the heights.

Soft glow. These 2 contemporary sconces need to be hardwired. They come with the bracket to mount to the wall, but youll need some basic electrical skills as well as electric nuts. The material of the sconce is thick and substantial. Its similar in texture to an alabaster or frosted glass. Its slightly translucent, but offers a great glow. These will provide ambient lighting, but dont anticipate that they will light a large room adequately if they are the only lighting source. They have the ability to switch from warm wi white light. Because the light is diffuse through the frosted shade, the white light is not harsh.
