The 6-light version draws more power (6W vs. 4W) and pairs with a larger solar panel and battery, so it puts out a brighter wash — the 4-light version suits a softer accent glow.

Does it still work on cloudy days?
The panel needs daylight to charge, and output will be lower after a run of overcast days, but the battery is sized to hold charge across normal day-to-day weather swings.

Is any wiring involved at all?
